Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Implementing the downsizing of Government services and regulators, is STILL their Job One -- no matter what they might say in front of the cameras, to contrary.
Their "Jobs Plan" is to pass the GOP agenda -- NOT to actually put Americans back to work now -- you know NOT fixing roads and bridges, NOT building grids and energy upgrades, NOT protecting and educating our precious resources of our homes, neighborhoods and our kids; (Unless you want to count hammering through the Keystone XL Canadian boondoggle as putting 'Americans' to work.)
Ask the Number One GOP Jobs promoter himself, Mr Speaker Jobs, Jobs, Jobs Boehner:
Republican Plan for Economic Growth & Jobs

Helping to build a stronger, healthier economy for all Americans is priority number one for House Republicans. The Republican Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs is a straightforward set of conservative solutions that will help create new jobs today, make life work for families across the country, and expand opportunity for everyone -- without expanding government.
The Republican Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs has 10 areas of focus -- everything from controlling spending and balancing the budget, to lowering health care costs and reining in red tape, to responsible oversight of out-of-control government agencies like the IRS (chief enforcer of the tax code we want to simplify and the president’s health care law which we believe needs to be fully repealed).
There’s our “all of the above” drive toward energy independence, exemplified by our bill approving the Keystone XL project (which will create tens of thousands of jobs and help lower gas prices).

Say Hello! to Oil Dynasty, part II. Long as the CEO's and foreign investors can keep their Tax Accountants employed --
doesn't that count as Job Creation?

“This House is going to continue to be focused on the issue of jobs,” said Speaker Boehner. Learn more about our plan at GOP.gov/jobs and stay tuned in the months ahead.

Funny how
investing in Infrastructure Jobs didn't even make the GOP Top Ten priorities in the GOP's {cough} "Job Plan." (Must be because President Obama suggested it.)
Funny how the only Jobs addressed by their Job Plan's priorities are their own (and their backers). Most of those priorities would put even more "public workers" out of work, and further empower corporations to keep making a mint -- you know, without all that pesky government interference, to protect the environment, to end industrial cancer zones, to ensure Corporate Revenue collection.
All THAT without requiring any unemployed American -- is actually given a Good Job opportunity. To put them back to work, NOW.
-- That's the GOP way, afterall. Bootstraps, just keep on pulling -- the GOP will keep empowering the corporations to just keep ignoring you. You just need to keep pulling those straps harder, that's the GOP secret Jobs Plan:
Unemployed workers -- Just Try Harder. (While the GOP fights to add more "public employees" to the ranks of the unemployment lines.) Yup that's the GOP Jobs, Jobs, Jobs ticket. Your Bus Ride to nowhere ticket, has just been punched:
Unemployed, just claw your way out of it. Come-on Minimum Wage is not all that bad -- you want to work don't you?
Stop being so picky. The GOP has got you covered. You just need to downsize your expectations, to fall more in line with the GOP Jobs Plan for the cheapest America possible.
Say Hello! to the lowest common denominator employment-wise, America. The GOP wants to subdivide us, all the way there.
