You ought to be out raising hell. This is the fighting age. Put on your fighting clothes.

San Francisco, California - More Trouble for Pacific States Telegraph and Telephone
Complications are increasing for the Pacific States Telegraph and Telephone Company where the Linemen have things pretty well tied up for the company up and down the entire West Coast. Yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that 27 of 31 collectors have joined the strike in that city:
The Collectors demanded a minimum wage rate , and wanted it to take effect at once. The Company alleged that ...some collectors gathered as much as $6000 a month in small amounts and received only $40 for such work. The demand was unheeded by the officers of the company, and the Collectors went on strike. They assembled at the headquarters of the Linemen's Union, organized and joined the Telephone Operator's Union.

Paterson, New Jersey - Fellow Worker Vincenzo Madonna Given Grand I.W.W. Funeral
Vincenzo Mdonna was shot last Sunday in an altercation with scabs. He was taken to his home and died a few hours later from a wound in the abdomen. The funeral was held this morning in Paterson.
The funeral procession passed from his home at 120 Belmont Avenue through the center of Paterson. Red was the color of the day. The 1500 men in the procession wore red ribbons, red carnations, or red neckties. The 350 women also dressed in red. Big Bill Haywood and Carlo Tresca along with several local I.W.W. leaders marched at the head of mourners. Thousands lined the street and withstood intense summer heat to pay their last respects to Fellow Worker Vincenzo Madonna.

Organization United for Respect
Yesterday near Oakland, CA
This Fourth of July let's remember those who fought for our nation's freedom and the fundamental American values and rights to freedom of speech and assembly. It is time for Walmart to change and honor these American rights. Together, we must speak out and stand up for these changes. In the words of Founding Father Sam Adams: "It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Join Us!

The Red Flag
It well recalls the triumphs past,
It gives the hope of peace at last;
The banner bright, the symbol plain,
Of human right and human gain.
