Apparently Bolivia was not intimidated by the misbehavior of certain European countries
Bolivian President Evo Morales said Saturday that Snowden is welcome in his country.
So, Bolivia is the 3rd country offering asylum to Snowden after
Venezuela and Nicaragua.
Of course, the big question is how will Snowden be able to get to South America from Russia. It does not seem that such an "escape" will be possible, unless somehow Putin approves and facilitate his departure. Will he?
There are some signs that the Russians are likely to do so (from link above):
Alexei Pushkov, head of the lower Russian legislative body DUMA, recommended Snowden leave Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport, where he has been holed up since June 23, when he arrived from Hong Kong.
"Sanctuary for Snowden in Venezuela would be the best solution," Pushkov tweeted Saturday. "He can't live in at Sheremetyevo."
