Today's "Guardian" has released even more information gained from Edward Snowden. This time, it discusses the USA funding UK intelligence operations.
You can find the newest release here:
http://www.theguardian.com/...
The USA via the NSA is funding some 60% of the intelligence operations of the UK's agency "GCHQ".
It strikes me that by this cooperative arrangement with our "special relationship" friends, and our funding of their own intelligence agency, it creates a situation of plausible deniability for both countries. The UK can spy on foreigners (us), while the USA can also spy on foreigners (them), sharing the information with each other, while both can claim they are not spying on their own citizens.
I am suffering fatigue of outrage as all of these revelations continue being brought to light. Should I say thank you to Edward Snowden? Honestly, Yes.
Sorry there is not more content in this diary, I am just overwhelmed.
