While sitting around at 11:52 p.m., – - – scratching my head about what to post on the blog for tomorrow – - – I ran across a website called, “TechEye.net” – - – and found something that made my skin crawl.
It seems that those awful scenes where police sometimes get carried away and start macing – - – ( mace-ing) – - – (using mace) and beating up on people may soon be blacked out by new technology so they can’t be transmitted over cell phones or the internet.
If what I was reading is correct, the time may come when police forces might simply decide to press a button somewhere on some techie gadget and voila – - – nobody observing them in the act of beating up on someone or shooting someone will be able to record the activity on electronic devices.
Nice!
“My country tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died!
Land of the Pilgrim’s pride!
From every mountain side,
Let freedom ring!”
Going – - going – - gone?
