You ought to be out raising hell. This is the fighting age. Put on your fighting clothes.

Victor, Colorado - Emma F. Langdon on the those who betray their union brothers.
Emma F. Langdon seemed to suggest, recently, that the word "scab" did not sufficiently describe those who are now betraying the striking miners of the Western Federation of Miners in the Cripple Creek District:
It was good union men who ..made it possible for these men to enjoy the benefits of union hours and wages without contributing to bring them about. The English language does not contain expletives sufficiently strong to express the contempt felt by all true men and women for such persons. The history of the world proves that all momentous occasions have produced their heroes and traitors. The American revolution gave us a Washington and a Benedict Arnold.
Many Benedict Arnolds have appeared early in this fight, and our sister warns that many others will appear on the field of battle before this fight is finished

Colorado Springs, Colorado - Brother Lippiatt Accompanied Home by C.F.L. Delegates
The coffin of Brother Lippiatt left Trinidad accompanied by the delegates from northern Colorado who were returning home from the Colorado Federation of Labor Convention. Gerald Lippiatt was brought home to Colorado Springs for burial. As the flag-draped coffin was taken from the baggage car and loaded onto the hearse, the delegates stood silently by, hats in hand, remembering who was responsible for his murder.

Hellraisers Journal on vacation!
Hellraisers will appear in abbreviated form until Sept 2nd for a vacation of sorts. A total vacation is not possible since the capitalist never took any time off in their suppression of the U.S.labor movement.
