No Bombs.

No "Surgical Strikes"

Rant Continues...

Can someone explain how Syria is a "Clear and Present Danger" to the security interests of the US?

But, but...the ME, the Oil!  Well, if we could cut the thread to the Oil, which we've been threatening to do for 40 years, we wouldn't have to worry about the Suez and Exxon sending ships around the Horn of Africa, would we.  But, but EdMass the Keystone will kill us.  Yeah, maybe, probably in a couple of hundred years.  But in the meantime we dance on the string of the Saudis and the ineptitude of the EU and we wind up with Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria ad infinitum.  Cut the string, open the public lands and pump the shit out of it so we can just say "not our problem".

Can someone explain why the whole world waits for us to figure out what to do?  BTW have I ever publicly thanked Samantha Powers for the bogus "Responsibility to Protect" bullshit that helped us send Libya and Northern Africa into the hell of the "Arab Spring"?  It's no better than Bushie and the Neocons and their "right" to intervene around the world in the promotion of democracy.

Oh and Kerry, a "moral obscenity" really?  Suddenly we found the f'g red line (again)?  What about the 100,000 who have already died?  What about the Copts and their burned out churches?  What about the cultural mistreatment and servitude of women in the heartlands of our beloved ME allies?  Etc...etc.

Now you figure we gotta bomb something?  TKs LaFeminista

As someone said sometime, "let them all kill themselves and let God sort it out"

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
