Yeah, her again. Back with her familiar mix of drama, over-the-top rhetoric, mendacity, and stupid. She's turned word salad into video salad set to music. With bears. Seriously, the two minutes and 12 seconds of that video is the most tedious two minutes and 12 seconds you will spend all week. And, of course,
death panels.
The former governor of Alaska and vice presidential candidate posted a new video from SarahPAC, her PAC, to her YouTube, Twitter and Facebook accounts on Monday called “Just Sayin.’” The two-minute video cycles through clips of the media talking about Palin’s warning of “death panels” in Obamacare, starting with criticism before transitioning to clips that Palin was right all along.
That's what they've got on the right. The half-governor, failed vice presidential candidate reheating the same death panel lie that was debunked four years ago. (One more time. The law
prohibits the Independent Payment Advisory Board—the "death panel"—from rationing care.) Anyway, at least this lie is something she can manage to stick to, just about the only thing in her political career thus far. There must be lots of money in it for her.
