Dumb and Dumber ...
After last Friday's
passage of House Republicans' continuing resolution to fund the government (but only through December 15)
and defund Obamacare, action this week turns to the Senate. Where, of course, the defunding measure is dead-on-arrival. But that won't stop Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Delusional) from doing everything in his power to ... uh ... make a lot of noise.
So, with a junior senator from Texas leading the charge in this week's pointless effort by Republicans to take away health care from millions of Americans, what better way to start things off than having a former, half-term governor from Alaska issuing threats on his behalf?
Former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin further stoked Republican turmoil over the weekend by writing on Breitbart News that,
“It’s time for the Senate to put itself on Cruz Control” and hinting she may endorse the primary opponents of those who defy her.
“A little reminder to Republican senators up for re-election in 2014: Moose season ends soon, allowing more time on one’s hands. So, we’ll be watching your votes very carefully this week,” Palin wrote.
Well, case closed. Defund now! Or laugh.
Stand with Daily Kos and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in denouncing Republicans who would completely shut down the government just to destroy Obamacare.
