October 3rd is the big day State Senator Wendy Davis (D. TX) will be announcing her run for Governor of Texas. Governor Maggie Hassan (D. NH) is helping the Democratic Governors Association build momentum for a Wendy Davis candidacy:
Wendy Davis electrified the political world when she stood on her feet for 11 hours to block an extreme Republican attack on women’s access to health care.
Now she’s considering a run for Texas governor.
The Far Right’s afraid. They’ve already started in on the hateful attacks and name-calling. If Wendy’s going to overcome them, she has to know she can count on us.
There’s a big financial reporting deadline coming up tonight. If Wendy decides to run, let’s send her off with a running start.
Click here to donate $15 or more right away before the deadline in just 15 hours to show Wendy we’ll have her back if she decides to run:

The attacks on Wendy are well outside of what’s acceptable political discourse. They’re deplorable.
The top adviser to Texas attorney general and presumptive Republican nominee Greg Abbott tweeted out a blog post calling Wendy “too stupid to be governor”—this referring to a highly accomplished professional woman who worked her way through Harvard Law School.
Senator Davis is tough. We all saw what Sen. Davis could do on her own: she stood tall in her sneakers and blocked GOP overreach. Can you imagine what she could do if we’re behind her?
Right now there’s only one female Democratic governor in the country: me. The DGA stood by me when I needed them. Now, it’s time for us to help them stand with Wendy and other great women candidates.
Donate now, before the deadline tonight, to show Wendy we’ve got her back:

Let’s show Wendy we’re behind her 100% if she runs.
With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
Governor of New Hampshire
