Today is October 1st,2013. The Veterans Department says they have "some" money to pay benefits for part of October but not all of it. The shutdown just happened I know but  the  idea of folks getting insurance is so horrible to some Republicans its hard for me to see them say "okay, go ahead with your stupid insurance, we will play nice."
So I need to polish my shoes, hide my tremors(can you do that?) and hit the streets looking for work. I will be 64 the 17th of this new month.
I would love to write for a living but I would have to know how to write first. Where a period goes, sentence structure, stuff like that.
I would also have to have something to say people wanted to read.
Lets see, I sold Bibles door-door once. I was with my Dad, I sold three. I sold fuller brush, (are they around?) I was thinking of being a bouncer like I used to be but I am afraid having the guy laugh himself to death won"t be as effective as I once was.
I went down earlier to go back into the Army but the Guy said the Army is now a "fighting Organization" and suggested I try the SALVATION Army.
I can wash dishes and already applied this morning. I screwed up trying to carry 3 plates at once, I spilled something all over this rich ladies dress. She was mad and I was fired. Some people have no sense of humor.
Cars are out because I have no idea how to raise the hood on most of these new cars.
Hey! here it is! "clown wanted for parties". Huh? all 2 people who read me have thought
what a clown! So, I am not waiting for those mean Republicans to play nice. I am going
to be a clown just like you folks have been thinking all along!
Wish me luck!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
