From Miracle on 34th Street
Back in the day there used to be three methods to communicate to Congress, a directly to their face, via telegram or via US Mail.Link-source
[H]andwritten letters still one of the best ways to reach your representative and senators? Bread activists and congressional staff who speak from experience confirm that next to face-to-face meetings, letters from constituents of the member of Congress are incredibly effective.
Why? The answer is largely “quality versus quantity.” It’s easy to send thousands of copies of a single email or letter to a congressional office. When it comes to gauging constituent opinion, staff members simply give less weight to communications that are or could be mass-produced.

I can personally confirm this as my daughter worked for CO's US Senator Bennet's Constituency Office. Emails, especially mass produced petitions or other e-communications are discounted. But US Mail, now that can't be discounted.
Here is a simple thought, make it like the Hollywood Yarn, Miracle on 34th Street, and inundate the Congress and especially Boehner's office. Make it so big that the press has to cover the enormity of the communication. Therefore if each KOSsack and their loved ones living in their households, their friends and friendly family members sent a simple note, in a sealed envelope it would overwhelm the Congressional Post Office at a time when workers and staff are down.
