HUD Releases Government Shutdown Contingency Plan
Nearly all 80 local HUD field offices will be closed, with some limited exceptions. There will be an “extremely limited” number of employees to answer emergency questions.
This will affect the 1% who are hurriedly building multi-family units and reaping government income from Section 8 housing.
Maybe, once the 1% landlords don't get their government checks, they will threaten their esteemed members of the Out-of-their-minds Representatives.
What is obvious, is the GOP could care less about any impact on the
LEAST AMONG US.
The sequester already tossed low-income people out of Section 8 housing and onto the streets. If the crazies in the House persist beyond the Debt Ceiling limit deadline, things will only get worse for the poor, the rest of us, as well as the 1%.
Maybe the 1% pain will make the earth move, hopefully swallowing up the Tea Party/Libertarians that are seemingly hell bent on destroying our democracy.
