So I'm minding my own business on Twitter when I notice that all my (least) favorite feeds are pumping up a storyline about Dailykos users learning their lessons. Supposedly Obamacare has ruined our commie hopes and dreams or something like that. They even have a Blaze.com article they are linking to.
If the diarist is feeling this helpless and pissed off then we need to be aware that it is happening all over the place and we just aren't getting such an up close look at it. The diarist needs to be commended for bringing this conversation out.
I spend a lot of time defending the ACA and it better deliver when all is said and done. Only the left can put the pressure on that would fix any problems it has. The right just wants the problems to grow.
There are hundreds of gloating tweets bouncing around.

The diarist is in an unenviable position and I want to be take their side. But they leave out too many details for me to fully understand what the best available outcome to them is. Just because Kaiser is going up doesn't mean that they can't find a better or cheaper plan somewhere else. It sounds like the diarist isn't even planning to look at the available options with a navigator.
So many questions are left. I want to know what happens after this person is walked through the process by a navigator. This is important. The left must figure out the faults of the ACA quickly and get to work on fixing them. This is supposed to be for the benefit of the people, not the insurance companies. If the left doesn't do this who will? Republicans will just seek the opportunities to exploit failures for political gain.
I hope this diarist goes through the navigator process and reports back to us along the way. Kossacks could learn more about the ACA and how it is affecting people around the country.
And while we're on the topic. There needs to be far more conversation on the left about the FACT that the ACA has lowered working hours for millions(?) of part time workers. Where is that conversation? http://illinoispolicy.org/...
I hope the Dems are more focused on fixing these problems than the politics of fallout. I know the progressive voter is. UPDATE- according to many of the comments, that last sentence is apparently not universal among progressive voters. Next time I will remember to speak for myself. Sorry.
