They aren't Scout leaders anymore. They've been booted. Here is a NBC piece about this.
The two fired leaders are incredibly still defending their actions. They claim that they feared the rock might fall on passersby. That's quite lame, because if that were a clear and present danger, why did it take so much incredible effort to tip it. One of them quipped that they might not have been prosecuted if they had just jumped on top of it and it fell on it's own. Really? It took all that effort to knock it down, but they joke that getting on top of it might have knocked it down.
It appears that they may be facing some criminal charges.
