Received this e-mail from Senator Brian Schatz (D. HI) today regarding marriage equality in Hawaii:
On Monday, the Hawaii State Legislature will begin its special session and decide if we will become the 15th state to legalize full marriage equality.
People across the state are gathering together to show support for our families, friends, and neighbors who are simply asking for the rights and protections that everyone deserves. This should be a bright moment for our state. Thousands of you have already co-signed my testimony to the state legislature -- and now is the time to show our strength before the special session starts on Monday.
Will you co-sign our testimony and show the legislature it's time for marriage equality in Hawaii?

Before the special session begins on Monday, I will be submitting our collective testimony urging the state legislature to legalize same-sex marriage. Thousands of people have pledged to stand together in support of marriage equality and co-signed -- and there is still time to add your name.
Although I will be in Washington, our family feels so strongly about this issue and moment in history that my wife Linda will testify on our behalf next week.
Please join our family and families across Hawaii and America, as we fight to remove long-standing barriers for all couples wishing to make a full and complete life together.
It's time. Add your name now, and let's show the legislature we all stand together in support of full marriage equality now.
