You ought to be out raising hell. This is the fighting age. Put on your fighting clothes.

From the San Francisco Chronicle: Haywood declares that miner's unity prevails.
DENVER, November 13-Colorado union miners are now very much concerned over the outcome of the resolution before the American Federation of Labor asking that body to appropriate $1000 to assist the miners in carrying on the strike. The following telegram was sent to the convention now in session at Boston this afternoon:
"Frank P. Morrison, secretary Convention of the American Federation of Labor: In the interest of organized labor waste no time in your convention discussing appropriations of $1000 to the Western Federation of Miners. The metalliferous miners under the leadership of President Moyer and the coal miners under Mother Jones have joined hands in battle for an eight-hour day, and we are going to win.
"W. D. HAYWOOD, Secretary-Treasurer Western Federation of Miners."
Governor Peabody to-day ordered that the number of troops in the Cripple Creek district be lowered to 200. The cavalry has all been ordered home, and in a few weeks the guard will be reduced to fifty or seventy-five men.

From the Miners' Bulletin: Annie Clemenc Found Guilty
From the latest issue of the official newspaper of the Western Federation of Miners in Michigan's Copper Country comes news of the conviction of Calumet's Joan of Arc:
The case of Mrs. Annie Clemenc of Calumet charged with assault and battery (pushing an insulting scab off the sidewalk), tried in the circuit court at Houghton last week, resulted in her being found guilty as charged. The incident occurred at Calumet during the early days of the strike, and had it occurred at any other time would not have received passing notice, but during these turbulent times, a scab, being a very precious article must not be disturbed. Mrs. Clemenc has been under bonds since her preliminary hearing which will be maintained until she receives her sentence in January. The names and addresses of the twelve men finding her guilty are as follows:
Frank Berling, Calumet
Thomas Carney, Hancock.
John Edwards, Portage.
Nicholas Fink, Portage.
John Hannon, Osceola.
Wm. W. Jeffery, Franklin.
Joseph Kasper, Schoolcraft.
Marlin S. Pentecost, Calumet.
John H. Richards, Portage.
Simon Sleep, Calumet.
Henry Warmington, Osceola.
James Wilson, Calumet.
Undaunted, we expect that Big Annie of Calumet will pick up her flag and lead the strikers and their supporters once again in a grand parade on Sunday. From the same issue:
BIG MEETING SUNDAY
There will be a big meeting of the striking miners held Sunday afternoon at the Palestra in Laurium at which several speakers of repute will address those present. The parade will leave Calumet Headquarters promptly at 1:30 o'clock. All strikers and sympathizers should join the parade and attend this meeting.
