Received this e-mail today from Senator Mark Udall (D. CO) regarding the Employment Non-Discrimination Act:
We cleared one hurdle, Samuel. Now we need to finish the job.
The U.S. Senate passed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act with bipartisan support earlier this month, putting us one step closer to ending LGBT workplace discrimination and creating basic employment protections.
But that was 11 days ago, and the bill’s still sitting in John Boehner’s lap.
Two weeks ago, thousands of supporters just like you signed my petition to pass ENDA through the Senate. But now we need your help to get this crucial legislation through the U.S. House of Representatives.
Will you sign my petition to demand that Speaker John Boehner brings the bill to a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives?

If we can get it past the goal line, this historic legislation would make it illegal for companies to fire LGBT employees simply for being who they are.
Thanks for your support,
Mark
