Mitch McConnell's spokesman
after Harry Reid nuked the filibuster:
I'm looking forward to President Rubio stacking the courts.
Team McConnell touting President Marco Rubio? That must have been some bad news for Sen. Rand Paul, who only endorsed Mitch in order to win Mitch's 2016 support.
But it turns out there's another problem. Poor Marco isn't getting elected anytime soon with poll numbers like this—in his home state, no less:
FL-Pres:
Hillary Clinton: 50
Marco Rubio: 43
FL GOP Primary:
Jeb Bush: 22
Marco Rubio: 18
Chris Christie: 14
Ted Cruz: 12
Rand Paul: 9
Paul Ryan: 6
Bobby Jindal: 3
Scott Walker: 2
OTHER/DK: 14
Rubio loses to Clinton ... and loses to Bush. Which might just make him the first guy in history who would lose to both a Clinton and a Bush. Congrats, Marco!
