I intended to spend Sunday afternoon working on tonight's diary. Instead I wound up filling out online job applications. But I do intend to get through the rest of C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy. My plan is to try to do a quick overview of Perelandra next week and then That Hideous Strength. After that we'll do something a bit more modern.
But I don't want this week to pass without noting that this past week was not only the 50th Anniversary of the JFK Assassination and of Doctor Who, it was also the anniversary of Lewis's death, which happened on the same day as the Kennedy assassination and the death of fellow British writer Aldous Huxley.
