House Speaker John Boehner says don't blame him for a do-nothing Congress. No, he says, it's
all the Senate's fault.
"When you look at the number of bills passed by the House and the paltry number of bills passed by the Senate you can see where the problem is," the Ohio Republican told reporters Tuesday. “Both the House and Senate have to do their job. The House continues to do its job. The Senate needs to get serious about doing theirs."
It's true. The House has passed four dozen Obamacare repeal votes alone. Never mind that all those bills passed by the House weren't ever going to even make it to the Senate floor, and Boehner and everyone else in House leadership knew that. They passed a bunch of shit. So there. There was also this:

The Senate was actually on track to pass the defense authorization before Thanksgiving recess. Until Republicans—namely David Vitter and Tom Coburn—held it up because they didn't get all the amendments they wanted. So, yeah, blame it all on the Senate. Senate Republicans, that is.
And what does Boehner have planned for next year? Maybe more futile Obamcare repeal votes? "We'll see," he says. Which means he'll wait until he gets his marching orders from the tea party.
