I was browsing through some of the do-nothing house's agenda and found this gem of a meeting scheduled today at 10 am.
http://waysandmeans.house.gov/...
The stated purpose: The hearing will focus on the challenges of the ACA on the health care system and explore ways to mitigate the adverse impacts of the law on the American people.
It is interesting then that the first listed witness is 'Grace-Marie Turner
Founder, President and Trustee, Galen Institute'
When I went to the web site for Galen Institute it looks like a clearinghouse for lies about the health care law.
Another witness - Scott Gottlieb from the American Enterprise Institute seems to believe that coverage determinations are solely limited to government programs. On CNBC he ignores the fact that traditional insurance has always limited the services provided to subscribers using authorization policies and coverage guidelines. (This was in relation to the idea that the Affordable Care Act had death panels)
