Simon Campbell, who states he is a "transplanted Brit" who became interested in politics, has formed an organization called Pennsylvanians For Union Reform, which seems to be himself and maybe a few others. He has evidently used state law to get salary and personal addresses for all teachers in PA, and now is doing the same for all state workers, current and retired. He is a failed politician, defeated in the last election for school board who evidently is using this to gather teabagger approval points - and financial support - to run for other office again  in  the future. There are links to this man and so the organization he runs, but they almost without exception lead to right wing sites and I will not post them here.

He will legally obtain the names and home addresses of PA State workers except for those in a few categories, including those of us who retired before his suit in August 2013, and police and judges...and those who have reported threats.

It seems he has far fewer supporters than he states...MOST of the posts on his several facebook pages are from himself, with a few comments, many not favorable.

He also states he has used his own money for this, although I suspect he is getting support from other similar groups elsewhere.

But he is generating some anxiety and anger among union members with his talk of "right sizing" government and ending ALL unions here in PA.

Personally, I think he is on the wrong side of things seems the Teabags who took over PA's government in 2010 have screwed our state at all levels so badly and with such contempt that we are preparing to vote them out in 2014.

Again, I won't post any links to his sites here, but his group has several facebook pages and a youtube clip that you may certainly visit at your leisure.

retired AFSCME Steward, and certainly part of his problem.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
