Happy Friday Kibitzers!
Hopefully most of you are getting ready to enjoy a couple weeks off the big hamster wheel of life to spend time with friends and family, so tonight I’ll make it easy …on you and myself.
Here is an interesting organization I found linked in a diary earlier this week. The diarist is not the most active in the community with just two diaries and two tip jars, the post got little attention. What I found was a group based at San Jose State University that is producing videos aimed at getting the little ones to be more environmentally aware.
This project is an SJSU collaboration between faculty, staff, and students from the Department of Meteorology and Climate Science (Eugene Cordero), the Department of Television, Radio, Film, Theatre, Animation and Illustration (David Chai and Babak Sarrafan) and the Spartan Film Studios (Barnaby Dallas and Nick Martinez). Most of the webisodes and content were created by SJSU students with input and guidance from the faculty.
Green Ninja
One of 35 videos.
The garbage monster should have been bigger …much bigger.
I told you I would go easy, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a pop quiz. What are you doing over the winter break?
Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate.
Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
