The 'Best' of Fox 2013 Tournament continues into the second round with an epic battle of nonsense. In one corner, you've got Fox saying that feeding old people is nothing but buying their votes; and in the other corner, you've got Fox trying to say that Obama supports the random murder of white people, which I guess at least means that they aren't accusing him of trying to buy white people's votes. Or something. Seriously, sometimes it just boggles the mind how crazy Fox can be.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

to events isn't like buying votes by feeding people. Or something. :P

Does FOX have any positions they aren't hypocritically supporting?

What am I saying? Of course not.

There are lies, damn lies, and statistics but they all pale in comparison to conservative talking points.

    or something.

I went with the random killing thing, since it's even more to the heart of darkness that is the racist fan-flaming fear-mongering so central to the Fox mission. Creepy crawly. The crrrreepier, crawlier the better for their base.

So much hate. That's what I tell any relatives or acquaintances who try to turn me on to Fox and their takes on things. So much hate. See my sig line.

5 reasons why Obamacare is still a problem for 2014 Democrats by Nina Easton

Having read it (well as much as I could stomach) I wondered who the fuck is Nina Easton.  Well her wiki says she has been named by every organization in the world as the most praise worthy woman since the beginning of time.  But the truth was revealed with this entry:

On November 27, 2004 she married Russell Schriefer, a Republican political strategist who was the senior advisor to the 2012 presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.

The clencher is her (constant) appearance on Faux News.

Here she is way back in September 2013.  Same story as she peddling on CNN/Fortune.

If you haven't yet marked her down as a right wing nut job, be sure to do that.

BTW, there is a need for a CNN "best of" for right wing nuttery.

Black unarmed teenager shot and killed. After nobody's been arrested for a month, Obama answers a question about it, so he's a racist.

White unarmed jogger shot and killed, four people arrested and charged within 72 hours. Obama doesn't have every specific fact about the case one week later, so he's a racist.

We are talking about a network that wishes to talk about what color Santa or Jesus is. Sometimes I have to stop and think: is this news or the Right's version of the "Daily Show".  At least the "Daily Show" is self-explanatory.

Fox is keepig the racist fires burning for viewer support.

The Fox demogrqphics demand it, and the "lame stream media" all look the other way.

Stirring racial hatred is old sport in this country, and it feeds into the ignorance of these hateful conservatives whom would have little else to bitch about.

But in all fairness President Obama should keep his mouth shut in all of these legal/homicide situaitons. Not because it gives Fox News something to whine about, but because it does not advance law enforcement, the courts, Obama's political agenda, nor race relations in this country.

After Rev Wright I thought President Obama had learned his lesson, but obviously not.
