Is it? I mean c'mon. If an investigation or a journalist finds out that Christie had any part in this scandal, there will be no argument over his possible impeachment. Besides violating the social contract - and not feeling sorry for it - with the people he's supposed to serve. Let's put aside the fact that a 91 year old woman died waiting for an ambulance or the hundreds of school students who missed the first week of classes, this action broke federal laws, caused over a billion in economic damage for that whole region, and caused a lot of trouble for thousands living in and passing through Fort Lee.
I predict that an investigation will reveal that Christie had some involvement in this. I spent 5 months of my life as an intern for a state union in Harrisburg PA, and have met with a lot of senators and representatives. I have been an editor for a statewide blog for 2 years and have done a lot of interviews with these same politicians. I can tell you one thing, there is no way in hell that Christie's Chief of Staff - the person who runs their day to day political lives - and Christie didn't have any conversation about this issue. I'll be stunned if Christie and his CoS didn't have any communication regarding this issue, and if they did, Christie's political career is over.
