The Speaker of the House, made "news" of sorts last night, in America's last refuge for solid reporting -- the Late Night Comedy shows:

Boehner was noticeably relaxed, and when asked by Leno if he agreed that most Americans blamed the GOP for the 16-day government shutdown last year, he simply answered: “Yup.”
“Listen, I told my colleagues in July I didn’t think shutting down the government over Obamacare would work because the President said ‘I’m not going to negotiate.’” Boehner said. “I said, ‘If you want to fight this fight, I’ll fight the fight with you,’ but it was a very predictable disaster, and so the sooner we got it over with the better.”
What a "stand up" guy that John Boehner is:
'Yup, I did it -- But, but those meanies over there made me ... Stupid Tea Party.
The story of America's no-growth life, eh? ...
"a very predictable disaster ..."
Or as the Speaker of the House once put it: "Jobs, Jobs, Jobs -- are my Top Priority" (except for Government Jobs of course ... or actual Jobs, here in this country.)
And in other Boehner news, the server of tea went on to throw his alliance behind a new "old friend":
Asked whom he’d peg as the best Republican candidate for 2016, Boehner name-dropped former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
Whoops! that's not very good news for
Governor Gumba is it?
...er, I mean the GOP's "only hope," according to their brain-trust otherwise known as Ann Coulter.
The more things change eh ... the more the GOP STILL doesn't have a clue.
