With this announcement, it appears we have broken away from the union and in our own country but that is not the way it is.. LOL.. Florida is sooooooooooooo big, it is couterproductive to have one group for such  a large  area, we demanded group rights or said we would secede or obstruct... No No.. just testing you there.. LOL!

We decided, some of we middle and northern Floridians could start this group with hopes that the Panhandle and the Southern portion of the state could do more good with more frequent meetups and their own groups.  This is our desire for more productivity.

Look Florida...we are holding our very lives at stake down here with Scott and the republicans so we need many meetups, ideas and grassroots organizing and besides the food, music and friendships are good too.

The whole idea of The meet ups were  to be able to check on one another and help where we can but when some of  the close neighbors in the community   is a bit more than 200 country miles, that gets tough.

We need to break up and accomplish.

All and any are welcome in our group and in our meetups.. The more the merrier but
it is mighty hard running all over trying to get to a meetup that one had just soon stay home rather than travel for miles and miles and then be too exhausted to even enjoy.
This has not proven pratical so we are not downsizing but subdividing !!!!

This is the new group for North and Central Florida.  We are currently planning out meetup and we want you to join.

It is kind of hard to send out requests until you ask because ...well we just don't know where you are may have moved since you joined DKFlorida.  Send a request and we will check you in....We will even leave the light on........

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
