More below the fold:
Going into heroics, Team Kaels has, with the downing of both Heroic Immerseus and Heroic Norushen, catapulted the Wreck List into the #3 progression guild on the server.
But I'll let Ninotchka tell you more about that below. First, the Saturday Night Massacre and Team Z report from Tvath:
Saturday Night Massacre:
When I got my first toon to level 85, Pamena was running Saturday Night Massacre and every week we'd kill the Sha of Anger. I really enjoyed those runs as a chance to learn how not to be a total doofus in a raid group, and a chance to see the really good players do their stuff. Oh, and loot, that part was good too. In honor of those days, and because we have some new folks and new 90s in the guild, I took the Saturday night group on a Pandaria World Boss Tour. Galleon, Sha, Nalak, and Oondasta -- all were down 45 minutes after we began. So we went on from there and Jantuk led us on a guild LFR through the first two parts of Throne of Thunder, which some people hadn't done. I even tried out my healing spec on my paladin Nortia (verdict: nope). I love that we're the sort of guild where the elite players show up to help the new ones along. Good job, everyone.
Team Z report:
In a sense, it was foolish to even think of raiding on Super Bowl Sunday. But, well, some of us wanted to. With three regulars out, we called it a farm night and brought subs -- Hyunkster, Swyftlyght and Tonyharrison/Arcanesong (he swapped toons partway through) to pick up some loot. I'm pleased to report that even without our full team we had no trouble downing Immerseus and the Fallen Protectors, and even Norushen. We're learning the dance on the Sha of Pride -- had him down to a heartbreaking 14% at one point -- but he'll have to wait till next week. We've also named Arcanesong our official first substitute, a valued role in any raid.

Sorry about that. Someone used the wrong email.
Here's the Team Kaels and Tuesday flexorama report from Ninotchka:
We're # 3! We're # 3!
Admittedly, we are a small and relatively unprogressed server, but it still comes as a complete shock when Team Kaels downs a couple of bosses and rockets up to the third position on the server progression ladder. Yes, we had a very successful night this past Tuesday. We killed Immerseus with only me left standing (and I was soon killed by the adds he summoned which didn't completely disappear when he died, stupid bug). I used the paladin get-out-of-jail card bubble right as we were about to hit the berserk timer, and lived long enough to see the bonus roll and achievement spam roll by. Yay!
So we had read that Norushen was pretty much the same fight in heroic as it is in normal, just higher damage numbers. Worth a look, right? We rolled in and did a test pull where everyone died horribly to way too many adds, and it seemed utterly within reach. And sure enough, second pull and down he goes with everyone standing at the end and plently of time on the berserk timer.
The Tuesday flexorama continues to be my favorite way to start off the raiding week, with quick easy kills of the first 6 bosses in flex again. A number of people broke bad luck streaks this week and got some bright shiny weapons and trinkets. We ended up with 23 people this time through, pretty good for early on a Tuesday evening. We had (astoundingly) a low number of healers this week but the healers who were in raid were utter monsters of healing so it was all good.

Here's the Team RubiPam report from Pamena:
Team RubiPam report:
Team RP did some farming the last few raid nights to gear up, and cleared thru Thok last Thursday. On Monday, Rubi decided to take advantage of the flex lockout to Garrosh from the 4th wing run last Friday (more on that below) to take us to Garrosh on flex, rather than normal, so we could practice the fight and perhaps get a little further while we learned it. This proved to be a sound approach – we did not finish Garrosh off, but we did get to the last phase, so we have now seen all the tricks he can throw at us, and will certainly be better prepared when we get back to him on normal.

And the 4th Wing Flex report, also from Pamena:
4th Wing Flex Report:
Since Nina has made her Tuesday flex into a very fun and alt friendly assault on the first couple of wings of SoO (and in the comments I will relate my adventures as her co-tank on my paladin Parsifale which was SO GREAT!), I thought I'd put a 4th wing flex on the calendar for Friday evening, just to see if there was interest. Well, indeed there was - we cleared Blackfuse and Paragons with several folks from Team Kaels in for the fun, and it was great! Then, when the Team K members went off to do their own raid at 10PM, the remaining 14 of us decided to take a whack or two at Garrosh just to learn and see how we did. It was a great learning experience, and we got him into phase 2 before we finally decided to call it a night. On the whole, a very successful evening, so I have scheduled another one for this Friday at 8:30, a bit earlier so Team K folks can stick around a bit longer if they wish. I know there are folks who cannot make it on Friday at that time, so I plan to move this event around a bit on the schedule, and perhaps do it on a Saturday night, maybe after a fun tour of world bosses or something similar, so that West Coast folks can get in on the fun.

That's all I have this week.
For the Horde!
