Received this e-mail from gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald (D. OH) regarding Governor John Kasich (R. OH) and his Presidential aspirations:
I’m Lauren, the new press secretary for Ed’s campaign for governor. Great to meet you!
Last week, Ed asked John Kasich and Libertarian candidate for Governor Charlie Earl to join him in pledging to serve an entire four-year term if elected. Charlie Earl signed, but John Kasich, after several days of deflection, had a spokesperson declare that he “intends” to serve a full term.
Well, I intended go to the gym over the weekend and intended to do laundry yesterday. Unfortunately, neither happened.
John Kasich owes Ohioans an explanation: Will he commit to serving a full term or is he just using the people of Ohio as a stepping stone to run for President? Click here to send John Kasich an email asking him to commit to a full term if elected.

We’re not asking John Kasich to do anything that he hasn’t done already. In 2009 at a Tea Party rally, Kasich committed to serve a full term. What’s different this time around?
Ohio’s economy is among the worst in the country and half of Ohio's families are living pay check to pay check. The Governor doesn't deserve reelection but he should at least commit to fixing Ohio before he pursues his own political goals.
