A man in Virginia Beach, VA has stolen a credit card and is on a spending spree across multiple shops in neighboring towns.
The Virginia Beach Police have reported that the theft occurred on the morning of March 29 at approximately 5:00 a.m. A time of day when there were no onlookers, and therefore, no witnesses to the event.
The credit card was in a vehicle that was parked on Rica Drive in Virginia Beach. The owner of the car remains unidentified, but the cardholder is a female, who reported the theft.
The unidentified suspect broke into the parked car during the early morning hour and stole the card. He proceeded to use the credit card later in the day at a Wal-Mart store located in Salem Crossing, just fifteen minutes west of Virginia Beach. A spending spree that could result in damagein the credit rating of the owner, who could use creditrepairaid.org to fix the problem.
He later traveled slightly southwest for about one half hour to Chesapeake, VA and tried using the card. After driving another half hour west from Chesapeake to Franklin, VA he used the card at a Fresh Farm store and at a Wal-Mart.
It has not been reported as to which stores he was able to make purchases and from which he was not, and to what extent he has charged on the card.
Virginia Beach Police have secured video from one of the stores where the stolen card was used to make purchases, but are unable to clearly identify whom he is. They have posted a photo of the suspect. They have not stated from which store the photo has been secured, but have issued it to the public as it is the clearest one they have to date.
