CVS Pharmacy, which is not a Rush Limbaugh advertiser, has been getting mentioned during that program in commercials for anti-itch medication TriCalm.
Because TriCalm had been mentioning that TriCalm is available at CVS, it had been suffering collateral damage from listeners who thought that CVS was advertising directly on Rush Limbaugh because CVS has been listed in the Stop Rush database solely because of its mention in TriCalm spots. This writer has been monitoring Rush Limbaugh spots weekly on staggered days and uploading airchecks of selected advertisers in the Stop Rush database Including TriCalm. This writer has been alerting CVS to the TriCalm ads mentioning CVS causing collateral damage to its image for being linked needlessly to Limbaugh's program. Today, I caught a new TriCalm ad which I recorded and uploaded to TriCalm's listing in the Stop Rush database and noticed that CVS has been replaced in the 'available at...' tag at the end of the commercial with Wal-Mart. I should note that when I post ads for products pitched on Rush Limbaugh, I never post 'available at...' retailers in the database as the retailers had no prior say in where the commercials for the products they sell that mention the retailer are placed. The mention of CVS during TriCalm's commercial during Rush clearly had CVS red-faced leading to the removal of their mention in TriCalm spots aired during Rush Limbaugh.
