Karen Handel, the Republican who
nearly killed off the Komen Foundation is using her bonafides as a top-notch conservative screwup to run for Senate in Georgia. And she's landed the endorsement of another top-notch conservative screwup, because modern conservatism is nothing but a quest to manufacture a singularity of screwup, a screwup so vast that it will reverse polarity and somehow turn back into genius.
Sarah Palin, c'mon down:
Former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel, one of about a half-dozen Republicans running in the Peach State’s open Senate contest, will hit the airwaves Monday with a new ad that prominently features former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. [...]
“You know her background, you know her record, the conservative who has walked the walk cutting budgets,” Palin says of Handel in the ad.
Handel is running in a crowded field of batshit insane people, including
Paul 'Lies From the Pit of Hell' Broun,
Phil 'Todd Akin Was Party Right' Gingrey and
Jack 'Poor Kids Should Work For Food' Kingston, so landing the Palin endorsement is actually a big deal. Palin had to look long and hard to find the biggest nut in the Georgia Senate basket.
