Not much to say here, Bomani Jones (ESPN's Highly Questionable) discusses the Donald Sterling issue - but gets to what matters. This is probably the best description of racism in America that I have ever heard. The problem here isn't that people are mad about Sterling, it's that they're mad about the wrong thing. See below.
From Deadspin, Bomani Jones on the Dan Le Batard show talks about an article he wrote years ago on Donald Sterling's handling of minorities in his housing properties. The good part starts at 4:00, but it's worth listening to the intro.
The issue, he states, isn't so much about how Sterling spoke to his mistress but how Sterling continues the white problem of "not wanting to be associated with black people".
This is worth listening to, and as Deadspin so succinctly said it, this puts the Sterling issue to rest.
