Springing to Action!
Folks from around PA have been bird-dogging the gubernatorial candidates since November of last year to insist that they publicly support a halt to fracking in PA.
The last big debate before the May 20th primary was broadcast live from Philly on May 12th and was picked up by 34 media outlets across the state.
Outside the debate there were 50 PA Voters Against Fracking reminding the candidates that voters expect them to halt fracking.
Inside of the debate, I felt compelled to bring up some of the unaddressed realities of fracking. I then wrote a blog post about why I disrupted the debate. The blog post spread all over. It was Gasland's "Video of the Week," and even made it onto CommonDreams.org.
Keep up the fight!
