Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the Coffee Hour at Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can discuss what’s happening in our lives, what we’ve been working on, and our opinions on current events. To start us off today, I thought I’d bring up the topic of camping.
I grew up in a world in which camping was considered a normal part of life. I’ve spent time sleeping on the ground with only the stars overhead, and sleeping in tents and in the back of pickup trucks. I’ve been camping with snow on the ground and temperatures well below zero. Today, being older, wiser, and a lot less limber, I prefer to camp in a motorhome. Since we camp a lot in Glacier National Park, we notice the many different camping styles that are seen in the campgrounds.
Welcome to Street Prophets Saturday, an open thread where you can talk about camping, not camping, cooking, eating, politics, the weather, national parks, or whatever else is on your mind.
