There was a diary published yesterday that got me thinking...
If you were a gun manufacturer, and you'd saturated the market on the Right to the point where projected sales were flat, what would YOU do? Someone seems to have come up with an answer - niche marketing to the Left.
Here we have possibly the first instance of that campaign. Perhaps a bit lame, but it seems to be an early effort. Set up or back a leftwing organization to promote Arms for the People.
Wonderful. The sales points, of course, will have to be slightly adjusted, but promoting The People's Revolution for the idiots who can't be hyped with Patriotism and good Amurken values has got to have gotten somebody a raise.
It's such a grand and glorious concept. Next we'll be hearing that the Les Miserables production was secretly funded by a subsidiary of Glock. And, look for a revival of Marat/Sade backed by Sturm, Ruger.
The possibilities may not be endless, but there are certainly enough of them to fuel a multi-year program, which can use every increase in sales to the Left to drive the Right just a bit more into paranoia, and increase sales there, too.
I think I'm getting a headache.
