Airplanes are machines that fly. They are most often seen from the ground, looking up at them as they fly overhead. At The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington, the Great Gallery, a six-story glass and steel structure, has 43 historic aircraft on display. Many of these are suspended from the ceiling, giving the appearance of an airplane-filled sky. Below the squiggle are photographs of some of the overhead airplanes displayed at this museum.
