Why am I not seeing this everywhere? You can call for a boycott of HL, but only by using media that the majority won't even see. If, instead, picketers with large-print signs march around outside HL's doors (or as close to them as they can get), from blue-haired old ladies to young wives in their pretty summer dresses, women who haven't even thought about this issue will find out just what is going on. And just maybe be horrified enough to say one thing to their husbands and friends, and then vote something entirely different.
Plus, there might be local media coverage, which also has a better chance of reaching unknowing groups of women (and men) than calling for a boycott.
I suppose I could have missed this picket plan somewhere--and just like calling for a boycott, it isn't likely that many will see this diary either. But...well...I just had to post it, regardless.
