Well, the old Republican voting game plan strikes again-If you can't beat 'em, keep their backers from voting.
The latest example comes from North Carolina, a festering hotbed of wing nuttiness these days. And who do we have to thank for this new law filled with new voting restrictions. Why, none other than the State House Speaker and Kay Hagan's opponent, good ol' Thom Tillis!
How about that? A candidate backs a law that could place limits on the turnout of his opponent's supporters. That's downright un-American.
Could it be because Stu Rothenberg just placed this race in the "Leans Dem" category. Naw, Thom wouldn't stoop to that. But he just did.
Isn't politics fun?
