I just can't stop laughing. What epitomizes the opposite of Indiana Jones--who's the bumbler extraordinaire? The Three Stooges keep coming to mind. What epitomizes a herd of stooges playing politics? Meanwhile, I just can't stop laughing at Republicans in spy glasses. Here's why.
The Republicans trained and unleashed a bunch of political spies using spy glasses to infiltrate Dem events and approach candidates. And the unleashed bumbling geniuses bit themselves in the ass. I just can't stop laughing. You see, one of these stooges, in Michigan, left us a full memory card for posterity, complete with all their private comments (you really should turn off the camera when you go to the bathroom.) And the Democratic Party of Michigan found it. I just can't stop laughing.
Now, Rachael Maddow has the complete card also:
The Michigan Democratic Party released a video complete with Pink Panther soundtrack ... one more reason I just can't stop laughing at the Republicans in spy glasses.
It gets serious below the fold.
Have any laws been violated? Recording a person without their consent may be illegal. So I did a search.
Michigan Wiretapping Law
Michigan law makes it a crime to "use[] any device to eavesdrop upon [a] conversation without the consent of all parties." Mich. Comp. Laws § 750.539c. ... an "all party consent" law ...
Perhaps the bumbling Republicans in spy glasses aren't laughing. Perhaps they are seeking private legal counsel, something the Republican instructors at the Black Bag University of Politics may have forgotten to discuss with their under-age-of-majority stooges.
Knowing the Republicans are a top down organization, I wonder who gave the orders to take young, innocent minors and teach them dirty tricks? Not to mention WHEN? How long has this been going on?
Where has it been happening? Nationwide? Are they all bumblers? Probably not, so I wouldn't expect them to all get caught.
How many memory cards of video have been collected? Where are all those memory cards now? How many bathroom visits is that? I just can't stop laughing.
Obviously, the Republican Party is still the Party of Nixon and his CIA political burglars. Something tells me we won't be able to stop laughing again in November, especially if the Republicans are all running around in spy glasses instead of registering voters.
