I've been working on maintaining my weight loss for a while, and I've done pretty well. But now, I think I need to work on losing a bit again to keep up. So it's back to reducing calorie counts and continuing my workouts. Thankfully, the weather is spectacular for July in IL, so I have that to concentrate on. How are things where you are?

I'm still walking hard and fast. Yesterday wasn't great on speed, but I rarely am on Thursdays. Have you noticed weekly changes in your exercise ability? I tend to do my best over the weekends.
Exercise and diet book trends: After the release of Fed Up, "sugar detox" diet books are coming out by the truckload. Sigh. Sure, you shouldn't eat nothing but sugar, but it's not an actual poison. (That's cassava, a plant staple for much of the world with naturally occurring cyanide in the peel and pulp, used to make tapioca, among other things. How did we find out? ... Don't ask.)
