I think it's about time the "MAKER and TAKER" meme is reclaimed to reflect reality.   Some examples:

It would take 1618 full time minimum wage ($15K) MAKERS to earn what 5 MCDONALD'S CORP  executive TAKERS  collected ($24,269,073) off the sweat of the MAKERS

It would take 9140  Dole banana picker MAKERS who make $3.50 a day (6 day 8 hout workweek @ $1100 a year) to earn what 4 Dole executive TAKERS who took home $10,054,290off the sweat of the MAKERS.

It would take 9,289,933 Walmart sales associate MAKERS at average pay of $15,576 to earn the equivalent of the The Walton (Walmart) family's TAKERS net worth in 2013 of $144,700,000,000.

To be morbid, for a reason, it would take 750 dead Massey coal miner MAKERS @ $60,000 a year to equal the CEO TAKER who was paid 45,000,000 in pay and deferred compensation to murder them.

And regarding that last one...  tell me why, according our highest court, our owners have the right to discriminate against us based on their "beliefs" while we can't prosecute them for their "factual" MURDERS?

Do tell, because I don't know why.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
