How can the White House not be aware of the massive disconnect between its rhetoric and its actions?
US says Israeli attack on UN school in Gaza is 'unacceptable'
The attack on a UN-run school in Gaza by the Israeli military was "totally unacceptable and totally indefensible", the US has said.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters that Israel has to "do more" to protect civilians.

U.S. sells munitions to Israel from its surplus stockpile
WASHINGTON (JTA) — The U.S. Defense Department sold to Israel munitions from its Israel-based surplus stockpile.
“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to U.S. national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability,” Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary, said in an email Thursday to JTA. “This defense sale is consistent with those objectives.”
The weapons released were 120mm tank rounds and 40mm illumination rounds.
To call this inconsistent is a gross understatement. Why help the IDF which has unleashed such a ferocious assault on Gaza the IDF's tanks are now running out of shells rearm for the next round of atrocious attacks?
Who's in charge of US Middle Eastern policy? Anyone?
