The guy you couldn't arrest on his ranch is planning a road trip:
ST. GEORGE – Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher at the center of a controversial standoff between federal agents and states’ rights supporters earlier this year, will be speaking at the Independent American Party’s summit in St. George Saturday.
The 67-year-old Bunkerville, Nevada, resident has become a hero to some and a villain to others for the events surrounding the April 12 showdown between the Bureau of Land Management and Bundy supporters that included armed militia. Despite heightening tensions between both sides, ultimately no shots were fired and no one was injured.
Be a shame if he were to be pulled over and arrested en route.
Alternatively, law enforcement could simply let him continue to flout all the laws he's broken and use the Federal government's interstate highway system to spirit himself to a public pulpit where he'll no doubt disavow the legitimacy of the Federal government itself. The irony smells like sulfur!
Anyhoo, your call. I'm sure you'll make the right one.
