Tonight's guests are Wu-Tang Clan on The Daily Show and Michael Fassbender on The Colbert Report.
The Wu-Tang Clan is a hip hop group from New York city founded in 1992. Members of the group are Rza, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Cappadonna and the now deceased Ol' Dirty Bastard.
They have introduced and launched the careers of affiliated artists and groups, often collectively known as the Wu-Tang Killa Bees, and in 2008, About.com ranked them the No. 1 greatest hip hop group of all time, and stated "No weapon in hip-hop history can rival the chaotic cohesion of the Wu-Tang Clan. The Clan had so many characters, each with his own eccentricities. They were fearless in their approach. There's a good reason no group has been able to successfully recreate their sound. The crew spawned countless loosely associated acts. Their classic albums spawned classic albums." Kris Ex of Rolling Stone called Wu-Tang Clan "the best rap group ever." In 2004, NME hailed them as one of the most influential groups of the last ten years.
They are promoting thier latest album A Better Tomorrow.
Raekwon has called a "truce" with the Wu-Tang Clan, agreeing to record new vocals for their forthcoming comeback album.
According to a statement on the group's blog, the once-reticent MC will apparently head into the studio just a couple weeks shy of Rza's 30-day ultimatum. "Breaking news!" announced the group's official blog. "Raekwon and Rza truce: Raekwon scheduled to hit studio to complete verses for album."
Rza had threatened to release A Better Tomorrow, expected out later this year, without Raekwon's parts if the rapper didn't "come to terms" with the crew by late May. "It ain't the fact that I don't want to be there, because of course I want to be there," Raekwon had told Rolling Stone. "[But] this shit is not right … If we're there, we gotta do the best everything."
He was particularly critical of lead single Keep Watch, which was released without his participation. "I hate that fuckin’ record," he said. "It's the production. And I ain’t shitting on the producer [Rza] because he’s one of our soldiers … [But] a whole new generation is sitting here representin' and making fiery shit and you telling me that we comin out with some mediocre shit?"

Explicit lyrics. Viewer discretion is advised.
Hip Hop is not a genre that I listen to often but I do remember hearing Wu-Tang back in junior high and high school. I was more of an Alice In Chains and Soundgarden fan back then.
Michael Fassbender is an actor known for playing Lt. Archie Hicox in Inglourious Basterds, Magneto in X-Men: First Class & X-Men: Days of Future Past, David in Prometheus, and slave owner Edwin Epps in 12 Years a Slave. Tonight he is on to discuss Frank.
Jon, a young wanna-be musician, discovers he's bitten off more than he can chew when he joins an eccentric pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank.
Weird masks have something to do with this movie.
