Now that I've got your attention ... or put you to sleep ...
Thanks to bobswern for a tip on embedding Scribd document postings. They can be any sort of file, including multipage PDFs.
Scribd is one of those cloud-sharing services with free user accounts. One very nice thing is that your material is indexed by search engines. This is very useful if it originates somewhere (like the University of Maryland Regents, or like the Maryland Attorney General's website) that has gone black to Google.
Government websites should never block search engines, no matter what their ITiots claim. It's bad public policy. But I digress.
I've often wanted to be able to show PDF files like, say, a jpg. Here's how.
To do this, find a Scribd document.
Like http://www.scribd.com/....
Scroll to the bottom of the doc (there used to be an "embed" button elsewhere, I would swear, but I don't see it).
Hit the "embed" button at the bottom right. A window comes up. Copy the big block of code.
Paste it into a diary. Change just one item. This:
to this:
You will then see this when you save & preview. Embedded scrollable docs, even PDFs.

It's also possible to use just the iframe code. See the tip jar.
