Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the Coffee Hour at Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can discuss what’s happening in our lives, what we’ve been working on, and our opinions on current events. I thought we might start out today with the Trinity Irish Dancers.
The Trinity Academy of Irish is perhaps the best-known American dance school with many of these dancers going on to become professionals. The Trinity dancers tour the world giving performances and holding workshops. Shown below are some photographs of the first unit Trinity dancers who had just finished a 12-city tour of Japan and had returned to the U.S. to perform at An Rí Rá, an Irish Festival in Butte, America (located in Montana). The Trinity Dancers often do a modern form of Irish dancing which involves arm movement and is often done to contemporary music. Shown below are photographs of some of their performances at An Rí Rá, the Irish Festival in Butte, Montana.
This is an open thread. Talk about whatever is on your mind, including politics, food, current events or the weather. Shameless self-promotion of your diaries is acceptable—we want to know what you’ve been doing.
