One at a time
On Ferguson - I've never seen anything like this uprising for civil rights in my lifetime (I was five years old in 1968) This is important white people. It's WAY important. Please pay attention and listen.
On Gaza - OMG. My girlchild, the love of my life, landed safely in NYC today after seven months as an American living among Palestinians in their occupied camps. My daughter was teargassed and didn't think it was a big deal. I'm glad she's home and I applaud her courage and integrity.
And the so forth... if you didn't watch this speech by Rev. Dr. William Barber at NetRoots Nation, Maybe ya oughta. Just sayin'.
It's one thing to read and write, it's a whole 'nother thing to act. Talk with your neighbors. Talk with the people you work with. Talk with the cashiers and receptionists and garbage collectors and babysitters and lawn mowers you see every day. We go forward together. We must reclaim our personhood. We are moral beings.
Corporations, by definition, are NOT!
