Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the Coffee Hour at Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can discuss what’s happening in our lives, what we’ve been working on, and our opinions on current events. Today’s starting point is water.
Water plays an important role in many religions. In many traditions, water is a focal point for contemplation and meditation. Many people use artificial foundations and ponds as a part of their meditative and/or contemplative environment. Others prefer to seek out water—flowing water or placid water—in a more natural environment. The following photographs were taken in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park in Montana on August 20, 2014.
This is an open thread in which conversations about politics, religion, cooking, crafts, and pets are encouraged.
